OrthoPediatrics Corp. Announces Closing of Common Stock Offering and Full Exercise of Underwriters’ Option to Purchase Additional Shares
WARSAW, Ind., Dec. 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OrthoPediatrics Corp. (“OrthoPediatrics”) (Nasdaq: KIDS), a company exclusively focused on advancing the field of pediatric orthopedics, announced today the closing of its underwritten follow-on public offering of 1,725,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $27.00 per share, which included the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase additional shares of common stock on the same terms and conditions. Gross proceeds to OrthoPediatrics were approximately $46.6 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses payable by OrthoPediatrics.
Piper Jaffray and Stifel acted as joint book-running managers and BTIG and JMP Securities acted as co-managers of the proposed offering.
The offering was made pursuant to a shelf registration statement on Form S-3 that became effective on November 9, 2018.
