Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide taps industry veterans Melucci and Richter to lead medical education practice

PARSIPPANY, N.J., July 31, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide (OCHWW;, a WPP Health & Wellness company (NYSE:WPP) (, today announced the promotions of Jane Richter and Michael Melucci to EVP, Client Engagement Leads for the medical education practice within OCHWW. In their new roles, they will serve as part of the OCHWW senior leadership team and will have joint oversight of the organization’s growing promotional medical education and medical affairs services.

In a move consistent with the organization’s constant drive to evolve and grow its client offerings, the executive management team looked within to tap Ms. Richter and Mr. Melucci, the next generation of leaders who are helping to redefine best-in-class medical education services, including innovative digital approaches to engage HCPs, data visualization and generation, and proprietary behavioral insights that help inform scientific narrative development.

The new leaders step into the role previously occupied by Mary Anderson, who recently left the organization to pursue other opportunities. Ms. Richter and Mr. Melucci have tenured with the OCHWW organization for the last 12 and 20 years, respectively, supporting both US-based and global clients. Together, they will continue to evolve the group’s medical education offering, developing comprehensive scientific deliverables and setting the standard for what premiere medical education programming can and should be.
